Is anyone allowed to say that they want Obama to fail?

It would be unfair of me to say that I want President Obama to fail in his policies but I truly believe they're somewhat on the socialist side of things which I think will in turn fail the American Nation. A nation that has always stood for individual liberty. Wanting a President to fail is nothing new in the world of politics or the media, as 51% of Democrats did want to see George W. Bush fail. This isn't a slam against Democrats... just my way of disagreeing with what President Obama has done so far. All American's of course want the US to succeed as a nation but it's not going to happen with a President who believes that socialism is the "change" American's have been looking for.
Rush Limbaugh said it best- "I would hope he would succeed if he acts like Reagan. But if he is going to do FDR … why would I want him to succeed? … If he is going to implement a far-left agenda … $2 trillion in stimulus, the growth of government … nationalized health care, I mean, it's over. … That's the end of America as we have known it because that's then going to set the stage for everything being government-owned, -operated or -provided. Why would I want that to succeed? I don't believe in that. I know that's not how this country is going to be great in the future. It's not what made this country great. So I shamelessly say, 'No, I want him to fail.' If his agenda is a far-left collectivism — some people say socialism — as a conservative, heartfelt, deeply, why would I want socialism to succeed?"

The Beginning of Something Great?

After some convincing from friends & family I've decided to start my own blog... just a place to post my political rants, cool pictures, links/ websites I love (and think you should check out) and my thoughts on things I love such as politics, music, golf, travel, sports, etc... nothing formal, just a whole lot of blabbing that you'll either love or hate.
